- Project site services management:
Get handover information from Project Manager when equipment is ready for dispatch, and
manage the installation process until the client handover is completed including:
- Review and finalize Job Safety Analysis and method statements in collaboration with client.
- Supervise equipment unloading and transportation to the installation room.
- Oversee and participate in mechanical and electrical installation tasks, including I/O checks, dry tests, and wet tests.
- Select and manage subcontractor workforce
- Facilitate and lead client training on equipment operation.
- Undertakes inspections and testing, equipment fitness checks, problem identification and solution, root cause analyses investigation on customer equipment and provides this information to the Engineering team as required.
- Supports sales and engineering teams to identify equipment design and process upgrade opportunities.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Ensure daily progress are recorded and maintain detailed project reports.
- Document additional work and prepare change orders as required.
- Report and address any deviations from the project plan or schedule.
- Ensure Process parameters and performance test results are recorded.
- Issue the punch list and ensure all the remedial actions are done.
- Cost, Schedule and Team Management:
- Manage project budgets and costs, ensuring profitability.
- Develop and adjust project schedules to meet deadlines.
- Plan on-site resources proactively and get an updated overall job site schedule
- Experience: Proven experience in managing installation projects, with a background in food processing equipment preferred.
- Skills: Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Good technical report writing skills
Excellent customer relationship skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment
Extensive travel, weekend work and site visits at short notice are the requirement of the role
- Knowledge: Familiarity with project management software and tools.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred
