Your skills and experience with inventory/storeroom management overseeing operations in procurement, receiving and warehousing play a critical role as we provide industrial on-site “Best in Class” services to our customer.

Responsibilities of the Onsite Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding company products and services while ensuring contractual compliance is maintained
  • Manage customer inquiries regarding various report requests and month-end processes to include internal and external Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
  • Manage recurring training: internal and external lunch and learns
  • Manage and ensure Days work in a day (DWIAD) checklists are completed daily and 6S compliance maintained
  • Manage overall operations of location, including all on-site employees
  • Maintain customer rapport and establish strong relationships with our supported customer
  • Annual budgeting and managing AR, while ensuring to grow profitability

Qualifications of the Onsite Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • Minimum 5 year of purchasing and inventory experience within Integrated Supply/Industrial Distribution
  • Background experience specific to the customer engagement: i.e. Cutting Tools if primarily a cutting tool high commodity usage provider
  • Minimum 2 year of management experience
  • Activant P21 experience preferred
  • Outstanding customer service and management skills
  • Must be sales driven
  • Problem solving skills
  • Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Record keeping, due date management and P&L management
  • Supervising and mentoring of subordinates, adhering to DXP policies and procedures and enforcement of these policies

Additional Information:

Physical Demand: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Working Conditions: Warehouse - Must be able to work in an industrial environment with the possibility of exposure to heat, noise, and dirt.
Training/Certifications: N/A
Shift Time/Overtime: Monday - Friday, 7am-4pm
Travel: Less than 5%
Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent experience, focus in Industrial Distribution or Supply Chain a plus
