We are committed to safety, teamwork, and technical excellence in every customer engagement.Fueling Your PassionAs a Site Manager – Downstream Chemicals, you will oversee daily operations, service quality, and chemical program performance at key customer sites. You will support chemical treatment programs, lead field personnel, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and ensure customers receive consistent, safe, and high‑quality service. Your leadership will help drive customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and growth opportunities across your assigned accounts.As a Site Manager – Downstream Chemicals, you will be responsible for:
  • Managing day‑to‑day operations of refinery chemical process programs, including coordination of service activities for technicians and account representatives.
  • Interpreting technical data and preparing daily or weekly service reports with clear recommendations to support customer operational goals.
  • Leading regular customer meetings to deliver business reviews, technical updates, and performance presentations.
  • Interfacing with customer stakeholders and internal teams to provide technical expertise, troubleshooting support, and collaborative problem‑solving.
  • Managing account‑specific financials, including budgets, P&L oversight, chemical inventory control, and coordination of chemical deliveries to customer locations.
  • Identifying customer projects and collaborating with Sales to support new growth opportunities and value‑added initiatives.
  • Ensuring safe, compliant, and consistent service execution aligned with Baker Hughes standards and customer expectations.
  • Supporting program optimization by monitoring treatment performance, validating data accuracy, and implementing improvement actions.
  • Preparing documentation, service records, and performance summaries for customer and internal stakeholders.
  • Participating in special projects, operational initiatives, or technical reviews as assigned.
To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Chemical Engineering preferred) or equivalent industry experience.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial operations, refining, or chemical sales.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of refinery process chemistry and finished fuels additive applications.
  • Have proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and general IT tools.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with customers and cross‑functional teams.
  • Be a motivated self‑starter who proactively leads, solves technical challenges, and drives operational improvements.
  • Be willing to travel and support customer needs as required by site operations.
