Job Summary:
The Site Lead is responsible for the oversight and operational performance of a department of an on-site children’s residential facility. Departments assigned may include, but not limited to, Site Management, Operations, Logistics, Training, Staff Action, Workforce Operations, Data Management, Time and Attendance, Quality Development, Direct Care, Incident Report Team, Education, and Shelter. Functions as the liaison with other leads and any other onsite vendors. This position is responsible for ensuring contractual requirements and client expectations are met in their department at the on-site residential facility. Acts as primary contact to the client during on-site events. Reports to the Deputy Site Director.
All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles and ethics of the profession, applicable professional specialty organizations, and the high-quality standard for which Acuity is recognized.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides supervision to staff in the assigned department
- Validates and approve timesheets for all assigned staff
- Manages the daily activities, which include administration, financial reports development, data collection and ensuring/monitoring contract performance in the assigned department
- Provides oversight of the department to include supervision, time and attendance review and approval, employee counseling and on the job training/shadowing.
- Ensures compliance with policies and procedures, state, and Federal regulations
- Coordinates and implements internal and data reporting systems, financial controls, and management information systems for the department
- Develops and implements systems to maintain records on employees, equipment inventories, and compliance activities
- Coordinates the preparation of reports of disbursements, special analyses, and information reports for management; presents recommendations for changes and/or improvements, monetary control, and adherence to budgets
- Develops or assists with the development and implementation of policies and procedures consistent with those of the organization to ensure efficient and safe operation of the unit
- Participates in development, implementation and maintenance of policies, objectives, short-and long-range planning; develops and implements projects and programs to assist in accomplishment of established goals
- Establishes a professional working relationship with onsite client representatives
- Maintains supply, medical, and equipment inventory to agreed-upon standards
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned to ensure continuous operations.
- Performs duties in a safe manner.
- Follows the corporate safety policy.
- May lead or participate in interdepartmental project groups or task forces to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specific level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, new task efforts, contract awards, and new policy requirements
- Supports marketing and sales objectives and efforts as requested
- Ensures safe operating conditions within area of responsibility.
- Encourages co-workers to work safely.
- Identifies “close calls” and/or safety concerns to supervisory personnel. Maintains a clean and orderly work area
- Assists in active implementation of company initiatives to ensure compliance with OSHA VPP, ISO, JCAHO, AAAHC, and other mandated regulations/standards
- May serve on the OSHA VPP, Safety, and Wellness Committees.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma with 4 years of experience leading others.
- Must demonstrate experience training and leading others and adapting to diverse situations.
- Must have the ability to resolve unforeseen problems with little or no direction from manager.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel as needed.
- Excellent presentation skills as well as oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency with computer, common office equipment, and MS Office products
- Clean criminal background check
- Clean Child Abuse and Neglect (CA/N) or child protective services check
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year of specific emergency influx shelter experience.
- 1 year of operations experience
