We are seeking a Computational Physics Engineer who will help us make physics simulation tools accessible to every domain expert without specialized training in numerical methods.
What You'll DoDesign AI-first platforms to interface numerical simulators with AI agents.
Develop agent-native workflows from the ground up for AI-powered autonomous multistep and/or multiphysics simulations.
Drive technical architecture: You will influence the product roadmap and help define our technical vision as we scale.
PhD in Physics, Applied Mathematics, Computational Science, and relevant fields.
Strong background in computational physics, numerical analysis of PDEs, and numerical simulation methods (e.g., FDTD, FDFD, FEM).
Years of experience in developing and/or improving commercial (e.g., Lumerical, COMSOL, HFSS, CST) and/or open-source (e.g., fdtd-z, MEEP, Devito, MOOSE) numerical simulators.
You have strong opinions about UX, system design, architecture, and performance tradeoffs, and can defend them.
