As a Simulation and Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for;
- Perform FEA analysis on components, sub-systems and complete vehicles to ensure durability and reliability requirements
- Conduct technical research, post-process and analyze simulation results, prepare engineering reports and provide technical recommendations to improve existing and new designs
- Perform validation studies to correlate simulation models to test data
- Liaise with design engineers and testing teams to develop test plans and provide instrumentation roadmaps for durability and reliability testing
Qualifications;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Strong background in fundamentals of structural mechanics, durability and linear/non-linear analysis methods
- A minimum of 6 years’ experience in use of commercial FEA analysis tools such as NASTRAN, Optistruct, nCode, Abaqus, Hyperworks etc. is a must
- Experience with CAD (PTC Creo preferred) and component design & development preferred
Salary Range: $75,000-$77,000
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
