Position Overview 

As a Simulation Consultant, your mission will be to develop high-impact simulation models that address the challenges faced by world-class organizations. This role is ideal for experienced engineers with a creative mindset, strong analytical skills, and a deep interest in simulation. 

You will directly contribute to SimWell’s continued success by solving real business problems and enhancing operational performance for our clients.

Responsibilities and Duties (include but not limited to) 

  • Develop discrete-event and agent-based simulation models to evaluate client operations, processes, and proposed solutions. 
  • Collect, validate, and analyze data while detailing model assumptions and functional specifications based on client needs. 
  • Analyze model outputs and develop practical insights and recommendations. 
  • Work as part of an agile project team to deliver simulation projects. 
  • Present results to technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Provide training and support to the client throughput project delivery. 
  • Contribute to the continued development of SimWell’s simulation practices, tools, and delivery methods. 

Minimum Requirements 

MUST HAVE 

  • 3+ years of experience developing Simio simulation models and working on simulation projects utilizing Simio 
  • 3+ years of experience with simulation 
  • Strong understanding of simulation modeling principles and approaches. 
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, operations research, or similar field 
  • A flexible, collaborative teammate comfortable working in a team oriented, fast paced, virtual environment 
  • Effective and strong problem-solving skills  
  • Object oriented programming skills (Java, Python, etc.) 
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) 

PREFERRED 

  • Professional proficiency in English and either Spanish or French. 

NICE TO HAVE 

  • Experience with manufacturing environment. 
  • Experience in data science and artificial intelligence 
  • Proficiency in PowerBI or similar tool.

    Skills Required
