Position Overview 

As a Simulation Consultant, your mission will be to develop high-impact simulation models that address the challenges faced by world-class organizations. This role is ideal for experienced engineers with a creative mindset, strong analytical skills, and a deep interest in simulation. 

You will directly contribute to SimWell’s continued success by solving real business problems and enhancing operational performance for our clients. 

This is a full-time remote position. The SimWell culture encourages work/life balance and promotes growth and opportunities for each member of the team.  

Responsibilities and Duties (include but not limited to) 

  • Design & Lead Simulation Modeling Projects 
  • Produce functional specifications according to customer needs based on SimWell Simulation Methodology 
  • Collaborate with colleagues to validate each other’s models 
  • Analyze model results 
  • Present results to the clients 
  • Provide training and support to the client 
  • Participate in conferences and commercial events 
  • Collaborate with sales for pre-sale activities (sales demo, technical requirement documentation, proof of concept models) as the software expert 

Minimum Requirements 

MUST HAVE 

  • 3+ years of experience developing Simio simulation models and working on simulation projects utilizing Simio 
  • 3+ years of experience with simulation 
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, operations research, or similar field 
  • A flexible, collaborative teammate comfortable working in a team oriented, fast paced, virtual environment 
  • Effective and strong problem-solving skills  
  • Experience in data science and artificial intelligence (not required, but a major plus) 
  • Programming skills (Java, Python) 
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) 

PREFERRED 

  • Manufacturing experience  
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
