Progesys is looking for a Shutdown Planner to join its team !
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare schedules for the mechanical maintenance of the fleet of mobile or fixed equipment.
- Ensure the optimization of material and human resources.
- Maximize equipment performance and minimize operating costs.
- Monitor the preventive maintenance program.
- Plan the project and prepare execution schedules for maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with various departments to establish work procedures.
- Work closely with the maintenance department supervision.
- Perform any other related tasks that may contribute to the project's success.
Requirements:
- University degree in Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent (an asset).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in maintenance planning, preferably in the mining sector.
- Knowledge of software such as SAP, MS Project, Maximo (an asset).
- Flexibility to work on a rotational schedule based on project needs.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to manage and make decisions.
- Ability to develop solutions and assess the impact of decisions.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with project team members, clients, and manage deliverables.
