Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shopify Apps Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Shopify Apps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining innovative e-commerce solutions on the Shopify platform. Your primary focus will be on building robust Shopify apps using technologies such as React, NestJS, Remix, and Typescript, with an additional bonus if you possess proficiency in GoLang.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  
• Develop and maintain high-quality Shopify apps using modern front-end technologies like React, Remix, and Typescript.
  
• Implement responsive and visually appealing user interfaces using CSS and other styling techniques.
  
• Work with back-end technologies such as NestJS to create seamless and performant integration between front-end and back-end systems.
  
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to ensure a user-centered design approach and optimal user experiences.
  
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in e-commerce, Shopify, and related technologies.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  
• Proven experience in building Shopify apps and working with the Shopify platform.
  
• Strong proficiency in React and its core principles, along with experience in using Redux or similar state management libraries.
  
• Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR) and modern front-end build tools.
  
• Solid understanding of Typescript and its application in creating robust and type-safe applications.
  
• Experience with NestJS or similar Node.js frameworks for building backend APIs.
  
• Proficiency in CSS and CSS preprocessors for creating visually appealing and responsive user interfaces.
  
• Bonus points for familiarity with GoLang and its application in building performant applications.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
  
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  
• A passion for staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in developing e-commerce solutions, especially on the Shopify platform.
  
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong online portfolio showcasing relevant projects.
  
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  
• Familiarity with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
  
• Understanding of SEO principles and best practices in the context of e-commerce.
