• 3D Content Management & Delivery – A scalable 3D CMS with a custom web plugin for seamless integration.
• AR Try-On – Advanced real-time AR tracking for immersive and interactive product experiences.

Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Head of Engineering to lead our small but highly skilled engineering team. This role is about leading an incredibly talented group of engineers to think creatively, efficiently and across various domains. It is about bringing out the best in people to solve real world problems, rather than just shipping code. 

It also combines this leadership role with technical excellence; our expectation is that this person will directly contribute to development, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software while scaling the team.
You will be responsible for managing day-to-day engineering operations, writing and reviewing code, and collaborating closely with product, operations, 3D design. management, and clients. Growing the team with top-tier talent and driving innovation in AR, AI, and 3D technologies will be key aspects of your role.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the Engineering Vision & Strategy – Define and execute the technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
• Scale & Lead a High-Performing Team – Hire, mentor, and grow a world-class engineering team, fostering an environment of technical excellence, ownership, and innovation.
• Hands-on Technical Leadership – Provide deep technical guidance, review code, and contribute to architecture and system design decisions.
• Drive Engineering Execution – Ensure high-quality, scalable, and efficient software development processes, balancing speed with technical debt management.
• Cross-functional Collaboration – Work closely with product, design, and business teams to drive alignment and innovation.
• Champion Engineering Excellence – Implement best practices in code quality, system design, security, and performance optimization.
• Optimize Performance & Scalability – Architect solutions that can handle increasing complexity, high throughput, and low-latency requirements.
• Stay Ahead of the Curve – Keep up with industry trends in 3D graphics, AR, AI, and scalable distributed systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a similar leadership role, managing engineering teams and delivering production-ready products.
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development, including writing and reviewing code.
• Experience in at least one of the following areas is preferred: 3D graphics, AR, AI, C++ development, or large-scale systems.
• Proven track record of solving hard technical problems and driving successful product launches.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and occasionally with clients.
