Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) are looking for Shipside Operations Specialists to support the 777 Line Side Control Center (LSCC) team onsite in Everett, Washington. This role supports shipside operations by helping coordinate resolution of emergent issues, evaluating processes and practices against applicable standards, and supporting the implementation of operational strategies and plans.
In addition, this position will support Full Engineering Kit (FEK) packet preparation, quality review, deployment, tracking, and continuous improvement efforts in partnership with FEK Production Controllers and Operations teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical ability, attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the flexibility to support a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Position Responsibilities
- Assist with activities across multiple functions to coordinate resolution of emergent issues in support of specific operations
- Conduct assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria
- Provide limited feedback on assessment results
- Support teammates in the implementation of strategies and plans
- Print and assemble FEK packets
- Perform quality checks on printed FEK packets and update tracking documents with pertinent data prior to deployment
- Deploy FEKs to Operations teams and retrieve them in accordance with the FEK management plan
- Coordinate with Operations teams on deployment methods and identify opportunities to improve the process
- Encourage, capture, and record end-user feedback
- Update tracking documents using information from the project plan, MES, FEK inventory, and other key data sources
- Analyze collected data for trends and factors that may help improve overall project efficiency and FEK performance
- Perform additional duties as assigned by FEK project leadership, including participation in Roadshows and Tier 2 / Tier 3 meetings
Basic Qualifications
- Must be willing to work any shift assigned
- 1+ years of experience in operations analysis or operations research
- 1+ years of experience working in a multi-functional team environment
- 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Shift:
This role is primarily 4th SHIFT ; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.
