Requirements
Role Description
This is a need-based, on-site role for a Sharyah Technical Auditor located in the USA (preferably in New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut but not limited to).
The Shariah Auditor will work alongside the technical auditor to ensure that all aspects of productions are align strictly with Islamic Jurisprudence.
You will evaluate the ethical and religious compliance of processes, providing expert oversight on Islamic dietary laws and ensuring that Tayyib (purity) is maintained throughout the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
To evaluate documents and conduct on site inspections to verify that ingredients, manufacturing methods and logistics adhere to Shariah principles.
Apply deep knowledge of Fiqh (Jurisprudence), Hadith and Quranic principles to resolve complex certification questions.
Collaboration: Coordinate with technical teams to ensure scientific processes do not conflict with religious standards.
Qualifications and Requirements:
We are seeking candidates currently residing in the United States (U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders) with a background in Islamic Sciences.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in one of the following specialized fields:
1.Islamic Studies
2.Shariah Law (Fiqh)
3.Hadith Sciences
4.Arabic Language & Islamic Literature
Professional Skills:
Deep expertise in Islamic Dietary Laws and Halal/Haram distinctions.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to apply classical Fiqh to modern industrial contexts.
Excellent communication skills in English proficiency and in Arabic are highly preferred.
