ServiceNow UI/UX Developer

Cask is seeking an experienced ServiceNow UI/UX Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in building the future of visually compelling and highly functional ServiceNow service portals and interfaces. Working closely with project teams, stakeholders, and clients, you’ll deliver innovative user experiences that align with evolving business goals. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform to support our clients' next steps and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service Portal Development: Design and develop custom ServiceNow portals from scratch, creating complex pages and widgets based on provided designs and client needs. Ensure UI consistency across pages, troubleshoot performance issues, resolve widget defects, and write ATF tests for functionality and compatibility.
- Technical Expertise & Implementation: Work closely with project teams and clients throughout the software lifecycle to configure custom workflows, tables, forms, and modules. Develop and integrate advanced UI components (business rules, UI actions, client scripts) to ensure a seamless user experience.
- System Integration & Automation: Design and implement REST API integrations for seamless data flow between ServiceNow and external systems. Build workflows and automated processes to support business operations.
- Documentation & Support: Produce thorough design documentation, well-documented code, and unit test plans. Provide technical support and troubleshoot ServiceNow issues to ensure the platform meets customer requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with ServiceNow UI/UX trends and innovations, identifying ways to enhance custom widgets, pages, and processes for scalability and future upgrades.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years developing on the ServiceNow platform, with 2+ years in custom service portal development.
- Experience with integrations, platform configuration, design, and deployment on ServiceNow.
- Hands-on experience with coding, preferably JavaScript.
- Experience with ServiceNow Development, including AngularJS, HTML, CSS, No Code, Low Code, Pro Code capabilities utilizing the Glide API.
- Experience with technical components such as LDAP, SSL, SAML/SSO, and other like technologies.
- ServiceNow certifications to include Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, and 2+ CIS certifications).
- Understanding of the ITIL framework a plus.

Note: Base salary range is $115,000 to $140,000. This range represents the expected compensation for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range when taking into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to location; skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
