We are seeking a talented and experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the success of our projects as we drive efficiency, accelerate Acquisition on boarding to standard group platforms and maximise the opportunities the ServiceNow platform presents. Deliver improved internal and external customer and analyst experience through continual development, configuration of ServiceNow e.g. integrated language packs, Chat, skills-based routing, accelerate configuration of Now Assist, Generative AI amongst other things, integrations with iPASS solutions, ERP, Telephony platforms.
Streamlining processes, integrating complex requirements, and ensuring adherence to ITIL and ServiceNow best practice standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that drive efficiency and meet the evolving needs of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with a newly qualified team to design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications and solutions.
- Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate the rollout of new applications and modules.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications using APIs and web services.
- Perform system testing and debugging to ensure the quality and functionality of ServiceNow applications.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow-related issues.
- Maintain and update documentation for ServiceNow configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Stay current with ServiceNow updates and new features, and recommend improvements to existing applications
- Engage with stakeholders on ServiceNow for CSM.
- Providing support to end-users.
- Administering workflows and implementing new systems or add-ons.
- Assisting with problem resolution and testing systems for efficiency.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to develop workflows and influence organizational change.
- Engaging in design and implementation activities such as gathering requirements and configuring settings.
- Ensures Knowledge Management is an integral part of day to day operations across business units.
- Undertake any other task as advised by reporting manager.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
Essential
- ITSM/CSM Application experience.
- Experience in ServiceNow implementation.
- Technical system application knowledge.
- Proficient in SQL and DBA.
- Strong communication skills – able to communicate effectively on technical issues.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities and best practices.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Client Scripts, etc.).
- Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer and Workflow Editor.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
- Experience with ServiceNow integration using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- ServiceNow certification(s) preferred in ITSM, CSM as a minimum
Desirable
- ITIL V3 Minimum Foundation or understanding of ITIL Framework.
- Any additional ServiceNow knowledge, training or certification or experience (Additional Administration Training will be provided).
- Administration or Integration of any remote tools e.g. LogMeIn Rescue
- Knowledge of software support industries and understanding of Service Transformation.
- Project Management.
