The Opportunity:We are seeking a ServiceNow Business Analyst to join our team in a direct hire capacity. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between the business needs and technology solutions, leveraging the ServiceNow platform to improve efficiencies and drive effective service management practices.
Job Responsibilities:- Gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with ServiceNow capabilities and best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design, configure, and implement ServiceNow modules and workflows.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to identify process improvements and optimize ServiceNow functionalities.
- Support the testing of ServiceNow deployments and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) with end-users.
- Provide ongoing support and training for ServiceNow users, ensuring best practices are communicated and adopted across the organization.
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis, specifically with the ServiceNow platform.
- Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into functional specifications.
- Strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) processes and best practices.
- Experience with ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Catalog.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Certified Implementation Specialist certification.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile project environments.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript) and ServiceNow APIs.
- Previous experience in a consulting role with exposure to multiple industries.
- Understanding of ITIL framework and its integration within ServiceNow.
