Roles and Responsibilities:
- Keyword Research & Content Gap Analysis:
- Identify high-intent, business-focused keywords and map them to content opportunities. Conduct content gap audits across markets and personas to guide strategy.
- International SEO Execution:
- Manage SEO strategies across international markets. Implement region-specific practices including hreflang, localized pages, and geo-targeting to maximize visibility and conversion.
- On-Page & Technical SEO:
- Optimize metadata, internal linking, schema markup, site performance, and architecture. Ensure SEO implementation supports user experience and drives meaningful business outcomes.
- Backlink Strategy & Outreach:
- Manage white-hat backlink campaigns. Utilize industry relationships and connections to acquire placements across authoritative SaaS, tech, and business websites.
- Listicle & Review Inclusions:
- Identify opportunities and pitch Neo for inclusion in curated SaaS listicles, comparison roundups, and independent review sites to improve authority and referral traffic.
- Competitive Analysis:
- Monitor SEO strategies of competitors to uncover new content ideas, backlink sources, SERP features, and keyword positioning opportunities.
- Track ROI on SEO Efforts:
- Use internal analytics tools and GA4 to measure the business impact of SEO — not just traffic, but conversions, sign-ups, and return on spend.
- SEO Analytics & Reporting:
- Analyze rankings, keyword movements, CTRs, and page performance using Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, and GA4. Translate insights into actionable next steps.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work with product, content, brand, design, development, and agencies to execute SEO projects that align with larger growth and marketing goals.
- Stay Updated with SEO Trends:
- Continuously monitor algorithm changes, industry updates, and emerging SEO best practices to ensure Neo stays ahead of search engine shifts and evolving user behavior.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 5–6 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in a SaaS or product-led company.
- Deep understanding of ROI-driven SEO, keyword strategy, and technical optimization.
- Experience managing international SEO strategies across markets.
- Established industry connections for backlink outreach and placement opportunities.
- Proficiency in Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console & GA4.
- Strong competitive awareness and analytical thinking.
- Comfortable collaborating across teams and aligning SEO work with measurable business goals.
- Bonus: Familiarity with video SEO, Reddit distribution, or AI-based search platforms like Perplexity/ChatGPT.
