The Role
Help Home Service Businesses Grow Using a Proven System — No Reinventing the Wheel
Sales Engine is a fast-growing marketing and fractional CMO company serving home service businesses across the U.S. and Canada. We help companies in the trades build a true marketing operating system — and we’re looking for a Google Ads & SEO Manager who wants to execute a refined, battle-tested playbook and become a top-tier operator.

Who This Role Is Perfect For
You’re a hands-on SEO/PPC strategist who thrives in structure. You enjoy running a proven system at a high level rather than rebuilding strategy from scratch. You want to sharpen your craft, take ownership, and grow quickly in a supportive, accountable environment.
This Role is Ideal If You:
  • Have 3–7 years of experience and want to accelerate your skills
  • Love consistency, clarity, and executing with excellence
  • Want to become dangerously good at SEO, AEO and PPC
  • Communicate clearly and enjoy explaining insights
  • Appreciate defined processes that reduce chaos and increase performance
What You’ll Do
You’ll use our proven playbooks to:
Google Ads
  • Build, manage, and optimize search campaigns
  • Monitor budgets, pacing, CPL, and conversion quality
  • Conduct keyword research, clustering, and competitive analysis
SEO
  • Execute on-page, local, and content-driven strategies
  • Optimize content using our “They Ask, You Answer” approach
  • Track rankings, conversions, and overall performance metrics
  • Collaboration
  • Meet with internal teams and occasionally client
  • Communicate insights clearly and proactively
  • Become a power user of our digital marketing operating system

What This Role Is NOT
  • Not a rebuild-the-department position
  • Not a chaotic, trial-and-error environment
  • Not a role where you reinvent PPC or SEO strategy — the system is defined and proven; your value is in executing it at a high level
Requirements
  • 5+ years Google Ads experience (home services is a plus)
  • 3–5+ years SEO experience (local + content focused)
  • Strong communicator with analytical thinking
  • Disciplined, U.S.-based, and comfortable in a structured environment
  • Bonus skills: Google Analytics, LocalFalcon, BrightLocal, SEMRush, GoHighLevel, TAYA and AI-assisted content tools
