Job Description

Position Overview

The SEO Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our SEO strategy to increase our online presence and improve our search engine rankings in Thailand. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SEO, particularly within the online travel platform or e-commerce sectors, and a deep understanding of the Thailand market. This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to lead and mentor a team of SEO specialists.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Execute SEO Strategy: Design and implement comprehensive SEO strategies that align with our business goals and objectives for the Thailand market.

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of SEO specialists, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.

  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to understand the Thailand market dynamics, customer behavior, and competitor strategies.

  • Keyword Research and Optimization: Perform detailed keyword research to identify opportunities for content optimization and new content creation.

  • On-Page and Off-Page SEO: Optimize website content, meta tags, and other on-page elements, as well as develop and execute effective off-page SEO strategies.

  • Content Strategy: Collaborate with the content team to develop SEO-friendly content that meets the needs of our target audience in Thailand.

  • Technical SEO: Work closely with the development team to ensure the website is optimized for search engines, including site structure, page speed, and mobile optimization.

  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO software. Provide actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Stay Updated on SEO Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to ensure our strategies remain effective.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in SEO, with at least 3 years of experience leading and managing an SEO team.

  • Industry Background: Preferably experienced in the online travel platform or e-commerce sectors.

  • Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Thailand market and its unique characteristics.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in SEO tools and software such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Moz.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex SEO concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Language Proficiency: Native in Thai and proficient in English.
