Role Overview
We're seeking a Digital PR Outreach Specialist to enhance our website authority through high-quality backlinks. You'll create compelling content for external sites, build relationships with publishers, and execute effective outreach campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic backlink acquisition campaigns
- Write and publish PR content with backlinks on external websites
- Conduct targeted outreach to secure guest posts and link exchanges
- Research and engage with high-authority websites
- Monitor backlink profile and actively manage performance
- Build relationships with webmasters and journalists
- Track and report on backlink and SEO performance
Performance Expectations
- Outreach: 150 pitches, monthly
- Published content: 70-100 published articles with backlinks, quarterly
- Media engagement: 3 non-article formats (podcasts, telecast interviews), quarterly
The role will include a 3 month trial period to evaluate the candidate’s ability to meet performance targets and handle the dynamic nature of PR and backlink work.
- 3+ years of SEO experience with proven link-building success
- Strong writing and PR skills
- Strong research and analytical skills to identify link-building opportunities, and report on outcomes.
- Proficiency with backlink analysis tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz)
- Proven experience with email outreach and relationship building
- Familiarity with PR outreach platforms like Featured, Sourcebottle, Qwoted, and Matchmaker.fm.
- Understanding of ethical link-building practices
- Ability to explain complex AI concepts in engaging content
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills. The successful candidate will enjoy a fast-paced, hustle-oriented role, managing multiple conversations and opportunities simultaneously.
