About The Role
As a SEO Specialist for the Hong Kong market, this position's core purpose is to drive sustainable growth in organic traffic, order volume, and brand authority through the development and execution of comprehensive SEO and content strategies. This role will closely collaborate with the Growth Team at headquarters and will be fully responsible for the business return on investment (ROI).
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Strategy & Business Insight
- Responsible for the SEO development blueprint and annual/quarterly strategy planning for all travel sectors in the Hong Kong market.
- Conduct in-depth analyses and keyword research for the local market, identifying evergreen content and seasonal theme opportunities with high commercial value.
- Create and maintain a data-driven performance measurement framework to monitor, analyze, and regularly report SEO performance to senior management, providing clear and actionable business insights and ROI analysis.
- Clearly define product and content needs based on local market insights, serving as a strategic foundation for collaboration with the headquarters team.
2. Cross-functional Collaboration & Project Driving
- Act as the primary communication bridge between the Hong Kong market and the headquarters Growth Team, ensuring transparency of information and consistency in strategy.
- Convert the unique demands and business opportunities of the local market into clear project requirements or business proposals to influence and secure resource support from the headquarters team.
- Ensure the effective localization and successful execution of global growth strategies from headquarters in the Hong Kong market.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in SEO, content marketing, and the travel industry, sharing relevant insights with internal stakeholders to ensure innovative and leading-edge strategies.
3. Content Ecosystem Management & Quality Control
- Responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and managing external freelancers, professional writers, and content creators to establish an efficient content supply chain.
- Develop content writing guidelines and SEO best practices for the Hong Kong market, ensuring all produced content meets quality standards.
- Continuously track the SEO performance of published content and iteratively optimize based on data feedback to maximize the value of content assets.
Qualifications & Skills
Required
- Degree holders in Digital marketing or other related discipline
- 2+ years of experience in SEO and content strategy, with a proven track record of driving significant organic traffic growth.
- Experience in building and executing comprehensive SEO strategies from the ground up
- Proficient in Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4.
- Good analytical skills to translate complex data into clear, actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in OTA or media industry is highly preferable
