We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer with strong experience in backend development and some proficiency in front-end technologies, specifically React. You will be joining a fast-paced, dynamic environment within FusionHit, working with our client based in Las Vegas.

The ideal candidate has:

BS/MS in Computer Science or related field with 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.

Strong backend development experience using Python.

Experience with React for front-end development, with an emphasis on performance and state management.

AWS Cloud components (Lambda / Serverless, Step Functions, SQS, SNS, RDS, EC2, S3).
-
Proficiency in databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, or NoSQL databases like DynamoDB.
-
Experience developing and maintaining microservices architectures.

Familiarity with web scraping tools and frameworks, and the ability to handle large-scale data extraction and processing tasks.

Excellent communication skills in English (C1 preferred, strong B2 may be considered).
Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain backend services, with a focus on building scalable and efficient systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Support front-end development using React, assisting with integrations and ensuring smooth communication between front and back-end services.

Work with web scraping tools and frameworks to gather and process data efficiently.

Implement cloud-based solutions using AWS services.

Stay updated with emerging backend and web scraping technologies, applying them where appropriate.

Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices are followed for code quality and performance.
