Responsibilities:
- Be a hands-on technical leader: actively contribute to the codebase, lead complex feature development, and guide the team through architectural and engineering challenges.
- Own and drive technical decisions: design scalable, maintainable systems; document architecture, lead discussions and reviews with engineers and stakeholders.
- Balance leadership and execution: split your time between coding, designing systems, mentoring engineers, and ensuring delivery aligns with product goals.
- Drive cross-team initiatives like analytical database setup, infrastructure upgrades, and performance tuning.
- Continuously improve engineering practices: enforce code quality, streamline development processes, etc.
- Maintain technical excellence: reduce technical debt, promote innovation, and ensure systems are secure, performant, and easy to evolve.
Requirements:
- Experience in React Native, TypeScript, Redux;
- Experience with third-party integrations (external APIs, analytics);
- Experienced in creating multiple applications on the same code base;
- Collaborating with remote product management teams;
- Building customer-facing consumer mobile applications;
- Strong UI/UX experience — Figma;
- Delivery-oriented person;
- Good English skills in speaking and writing;
- Build applications from scratch;
- Experience with React Native Reanimated;
- Track record of leading engineering teams, with a main focus on technical leadership;
- Open to business trips abroad.
