Role : Senior Word Press Developer

Location: Andheri East, Mumbai

Company Name: Mouth and Foot Painting Artists Association Worldwide (MFPA).

Role & Responsibilities:

•  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and functionalities for WordPress-based websites and applications.
  

•  Develop and customize WordPress themes, plugins, and extensions according to project requirements.
  

•   Perform website optimizations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the site's compatibility across various browsers and devices.
  

•  Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance website capabilities.
  

• Maintain code integrity and organization through version control systems.
  

• Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities.
  

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in WordPress and PHP development.
  

• Monitoring the performance of the live website.
  

•  Maintain regular backups of the websites.

Desired Background and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  

•  Proven work experience of at least 4-5 years as a WordPress & PHP Developer or similar role.
  

• Proficiency in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development.
  

• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, and MySQL.
  

•  Experience with responsive web design principles and frameworks.
  

•  Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
  

•  Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues efficiently.
  

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  

• Experience with e-commerce platforms, especially WooCommerce.
  

•   Knowledge of SEO best practices and performance optimization techniques.
  

• Understanding of security principles and techniques in web development.
  

•  Certifications or additional training in WordPress/PHP development.
