Job Responsibilities

Design, develop, simulate, and optimize algorithms for millimeter-wave communication systems.
Collaborate closely with PHY, firmware, RFIC, and digital hardware teams to implement efficient algorithms for both factory calibration and real-time system operation.
Develop and execute test plans, collect and analyze test data, and identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues.
Capture, analyze, and document system requirements for wireless communication platforms and products.
Perform transmit and receive chain analysis, including gain, noise, linearity, and overall link budget evaluations.
Work closely with systems, RF, and applications teams to define system architecture and partition implementations across 5G RF and physical layer systems using Movandi chipsets, FPGAs, and microcontrollers.
Lead and support system-level integration of the overall wireless communication platform.
Validate system performance using lab instrumentation, over-the-air (OTA) testing, and field trials.
Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation for both internal development teams and customer-facing deliverables.

Requirements

MEng or equivalent degree with at least 5 years of experience in wireless communication systems design and integration.
Experience with developing physical layer communication algorithms for wireless communication chipsets.
Good understanding of mmWave physical layer aspects such as beamforming
Good C/C++ and python programming skills for embedded system.
Experience with System and RF debugging using LAB equipment such as Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer.
Experience with Verilog HDL and FPGA development is desired.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Results oriented with proactive attitude to follow up and close action items.
Enthusiasm and motivation to take ownership of a project.

Skills Required

MEng or equivalent degree

Understanding of millimeter-wave physical-layer concepts, including beamforming
Good C and C++ programming skills for embedded systems
Good Python programming skills for embedded systems
Experience with system and RF debugging using laboratory equipment
Experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers
Experience with Verilog HDL and FPGA development
Strong verbal and written communication skills
