We are looking for a Senior Windows Developer to lead the modernisation and evolution of Board Intelligence’s Windows application, delivering high impact features that directly support senior leaders and board level users.

This is a hands on role for someone who enjoys owning architectural change and improving user experience at the same time. You will lead the migration from UWP to WinUI 3, helping shape the next generation of our Windows platform while continuing to deliver new features end to end.

You will work closely with Engineering, Product and Design to improve the overall look, feel, and usability of the application, ensuring it meets the high standards required in a governance and regulated environment.

This is an opportunity to build software used by executive audiences, where performance, reliability, usability and data security are critical.

• Lead the modernisation of the Windows application, including migration from UWP to WinUI 3
• Drive improvements to the overall look, feel, and usability of the application
• Develop new features end to end, fetching data from APIs and presenting it in clean, intuitive UI
• Integrate with our proprietary authentication system and ensure robust, secure authentication flows
• Champion security best practices across the application, in line with the high standards required by our industry
• Maintain and improve existing application functionality
• Collaborate with the wider engineering team, Product, and Design to shape the roadmap
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards
• Support testing, debugging, and performance optimisation

We are looking for a Senior Windows Developer who combines strong technical foundations with product awareness and a security conscious mindset. This is a hands on role for someone who enjoys ownership, values engineering quality, and wants to modernise a critical platform used in board level contexts.

We are looking for someone with:

• Senior level experience in Windows application development. We would also consider an experienced mid level developer with a strong track record
• Strong UI and UX sensibility. You care about how software looks and feels, not just how it works
• Solid UWP development experience, ideally with exposure to WinUI 3 or experience migrating applications between Windows UI frameworks
• Proven experience building applications that consume REST APIs and present data in well designed interfaces
• Strong understanding of authentication and security principles, with experience integrating secure authentication systems
• A security first mindset, comfortable working in an environment where data sensitivity and industry standards are paramount

• Direct experience with WinUI 3 or migrating a production application from UWP to WinUI 3
• Experience with MAUI or Xamarin
• Experience within governance, financial services, or other regulated industries
• Experience building applications used by senior or executive audiences

You are comfortable leading a framework migration while continuing to deliver value. You balance long term platform health with short term feature delivery.

You care about clean code, maintainable architecture, and robust testing. You contribute thoughtfully to code reviews and help strengthen team standards.

You understand secure authentication flows, data protection principles, and secure coding practices. You champion best practice in a high trust, high responsibility environment.
