Your missionThe UiPath.com team is looking for an accomplished, hands-on senior web developer focused on developing and enhancing our website which seeks to be the front-door to UiPath.
As the senior web developer, you will have a direct impact on a large-scale, high-impact website that is visited by millions of people a month and is directly contributing to lead generation and the company bottom line. Our website is distributed globally through CDNs and is directly connected to a large scale API first headless CMS — Contentful. Prior experience on developing large scale websites at scale is highly preferred along with a passion for building the best web experiences with an eye to pixel perfect design.
What you'll do at UiPath
Build a scalable, robust, and reusable UI platform to power a content-rich web experience and ensure website deliverables meet expected service levels.
Collaborate with creative teams, UX designers, and web project managers to develop and deliver a compelling web experience.
Work closely with other developers and engineers while partnering cross-functionally with product and design teams to envision and deliver new website capabilities.
Ensure that software meets high standards of quality, security, scalability, and performance.
Participate in and influence best practices across the marketing and engineering organizations.
Work in TypeScript, GatsbyJS, React, Node.js, Jest/Cypress, MongoDB, Styled Components, and Cloudflare Workers/Pages, while being adaptable to new technologies.
Develop and maintain full-stack applications with backend services using Node.js and databases like MongoDB.
Work with Azure services, including Azure Function Apps, Azure Key Vault, Azure Pipelines, and workflows.
Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
Configure and manage reverse proxies for web applications.
Work extensively with Contentful, including developing Contentful Custom Apps.
Implement SEO best practices and optimize the website for search engines.
Collaborate using Figma for UI/UX design and implementation.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment with a passion for building new capabilities and experiences.
Implement unit and integration tests and conduct functional and performance testing where appropriate.
Improve the performance of existing software by diagnosing and resolving critical issues.
Prepare technical documentation, including software design evaluation plans, test results, and technical manuals.
Adhere to established development practices and processes.
Experience collaborating with marketing teams to align web development with business goals would be a plus.
5-7 years of experience in full-stack web development.
Strong expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks (React, GatsbyJS, or similar).
Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js.
Hands-on experience with MongoDB, Styled Components, and Cloudflare Workers/Pages.
Experience working with Azure services, including Azure Function Apps, Key Vault, Pipelines, and workflow automation.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
Understanding of reverse proxy configurations.
Extensive experience with Contentful and developing Contentful Custom Apps.
Strong knowledge of SEO best practices.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience optimizing performance, scalability, and security for large-scale web applications.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
