Description:
The J.P. Morgan Wealth Management Content Team is seeking a Video Producer/Editor with a passion for storytelling and experience engaging target audiences and driving business results to help scale our video practice. This role will conceptualize, produce, and deliver video, animation, and motion graphics across internal and external channels – including social media (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn), website, and in-person events.
As a Video Producer/Editor on the Wealth Management Video Content Team, you will lead the full production lifecycle (creative development, scripting, storyboarding, direction, production, and post-production), translating complex messages into engaging, easy-to-understand visual stories, upholding brand standards and accessibility requirements, optimizing content for platform-native performance, and managing timelines and deliverables in a fast-paced environment. In addition, you will have strong written and verbal communication skills and an extensive background in filming, editing, and motion graphics, with the ability to produce across a range of production values, high-level as well as run-and-gun. Reporting to the Video Team Lead for J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, you will be asked to contribute to projects that drive awareness, consideration, engagement, and conversion for J.P. Morgan Wealth Management and support our team’s mission of empowering investors to make smart financial choices through best-in-class thought leadership, education, and actionable insights.
Job responsibilities:
- Produce original video content for J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, including standard pre- and post-production elements – concepting, scriptwriting, storyboarding, filming, editing.
- Support the business with new, innovative ways to create multimedia content.
- Work closely with stakeholders and partners to align video strategy with business objectives, manage project timelines, and ensure content meets brand standards.
- Employ platform-native best practices and optimization to maximize engagement and relevance with target audiences.
- Own projects start to finish, identify topical content ideas, and develop and execute distribution strategies.
- Create motion graphics and animations to enhance video content and engage viewers.
- Engaging and directing C-suite executives, thought leaders and subject-matter experts within the Wealth Management line of business.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content.
- Stay up-to-speed on industry trends and best practices to continuously stay ahead of the competition.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 5+ years of experience working in media (news, television, creative agency, corporate environment) creating compelling video content with proven experience as a video producer and editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in filming and editing
- Strong production skills including DSLR videography, audio recording and knowledge of various lighting techniques; familiarity with video and audio formats and best practices for web & digital applications.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok; offer strategic input on formats, lengths, and safety zones.
- Expertise in non-linear editing, animation and audio edit/post software (Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Audition), and multi-camera work flows.
- Expertise filming with professional camera equipment, such as Canon R5 C, C300, C70, DJI Osmo; knowledge of camera lenses, lights, grip, electric equipment, and other accessories.
- Must be able to perform the physical tasks necessary to perform the work. This includes moderate lifting and carrying of equipment, set up and take down of equipment and standing for long periods of time.
- Solutions and results-oriented. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities.
- Proficiency using LLMs and other AI work efficiency tools, knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word) and familiarity with Mac systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management across our business.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Occasional domestic travel may be required.

- Bachelor's degree in Media Communications or similar discipline; technology or financial services experience
- Animation, storyboarding, still photography expertise
