Position: Senior Video Editor & Visual Designer
Location: India (Hybrid - Bangalore)
Department: Global Marketing
Type: Full Time
About The Role:
Agora is seeking a highly skilled Senior Video Editor & Visual Designer to help guide our brand story and visual communication. The ideal candidate is a skilled storyteller and exceptional editor, with the ability to translate abstract technical concepts into succinct, engaging, and clear visual messages. You should be able to turn raw footage, podcasts, webinars, product demos, and interviews into polished, high-performing content for a range of global channels.
This person will also bring solid graphic design skills and apply them across printed and digital marketing collateral, website visuals, social assets, event signage/graphics, and sales materials. The role will work closely with Product Marketing, Content, Growth, and regional marketing teams to create content that is clear, modern, and consistently on brand.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in a creative role supporting B2B SaaS or technology companies, ideally including developer-focused products or technical audiences. This is not a task-only production role. A strong fit will combine craft, speed, judgment, and the ability to independently manage a high volume of creative output while maintaining quality.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Video Production & Editing: Own end-to-end post-production for video marketing assets, including product sizzle reels, event recaps, demos, social clips, and localized video content.
2. Podcast Production: Manage post-production for Agora’s video podcast, including audio cleanup, multi-camera video editing, graphic integration, and high-engagement clipping for social distribution.
3. Short-Form Content Engine: Transform long-form assets such as webinars, interviews, and virtual events into repeatable streams of high-quality clips optimized for audience engagement.
4. Visual & Graphic Design: Create polished visual assets for social media, digital campaigns, landing pages, one-pagers, ebooks, event materials, and sales decks.
5. Brand Consistency: Apply and reinforce Agora’s visual standards and brand guidelines across video, print, and digital materials to help ensure consistency across global campaigns.
6. Template & System Development: Build reusable motion, thumbnail, deck, and social templates that improve production speed and create a more cohesive brand presence.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product and DevRel, and within Marketing (Product Marketing, Content, Growth, and Field) to turn content into compelling creative output.
8. AI-Assisted Workflow: Use AI tools to accelerate editing, captioning, transcription, versioning, and content adaptation while maintaining a high creative bar.
9. Creative Project Ownership: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize against deadlines, and maintain strong communication with stakeholders across regions.
Required Qualifications:
1.Bachelor’s degree in Design, Communications, Media Production, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2.5+ years of experience in video editing, motion content, and graphic design, preferably in full-time roles supporting US-based software or technology companies.
3.Advanced video editing skills with a diverse portfolio demonstrating strong storytelling, pacing, audio effects and music mastery, typography, layout, high production standards, and a keen eye for modern tech branding.
4.Demonstrated ability to edit a range of formats and form factors, including podcast video, product marketing videos, interviews, explainers, webinars, and short-form social content.
5.Strong graphic design fundamentals, including layout, typography, brand consistency, and asset creation across digital and print formats.
6.Ability to maintain a working schedule that provides at least 3–4 hours of overlap with the US Pacific Time (PT) business day for synchronous collaboration.
7.Proven ability to work cross-functionally, manage feedback effectively, and move quickly without sacrificing quality.
8.Experience supporting multiple internal stakeholders and coordinating with freelancers, agencies, or other external creative contributors.
Technical Toolkit & Preferred Skills:
1.Video Editing: Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent professional editing tools.
2.Motion & Post-Production: After Effects, motion graphics, kinetic text, caption styling, basic color correction, and audio cleanup.
3.Design: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or equivalent tools for digital asset and visual design.
4.Audio/Podcast Workflow: Experience editing dialogue-driven content and preparing polished podcast assets for distribution across video and audio channels.
5.AI-Assisted Workflow: Strong familiarity with emerging AI tools for video, audio, and design asset generation/editing. You view AI as an amplifier for your speed and creativity, not a replacement for your foundational talent.
6.Channel Fluency: Experience creating content tailored for distribution across web, mobile, broadcast, and social channels (LinkedIn, YouTube, Reddit, etc.)
7.Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in B2B SaaS, developer tools, APIs, real-time communications, or conversational AI is strongly preferred.
