Position Summary

The Senior Vice President of Programming (SVP) is responsible for leading program development, alignment, execution and evaluation to achieve effective and efficient service delivery across all areas of service. The SVP collaborates with senior management to drive performance-based outcomes and transformative results guided by the agency’s strategic plan. Working with the President & CEO the position ensures stewardship of resources and facilitates growth, in alignment with LMM’s Mission, Vision and Values.


Some of the duties include:

  • Lead the execution of LMM’s Strategic Plan Goals related to Empowering Services
  • Align service area efforts in support of the execution of other strategic goals
  • Strengthen service integration and cross-department collaboration
  • Implement strategies to meet the workforce and housing needs of persons experiencing homelessness, currently incarcerated or returning citizens, and others served by LMM
  • Strengthen LMM’s impact on persons served by promoting service excellence modeled after industry best practices
  • Stay informed on community needs, industry trends, policy changes, and innovations in service delivery
  • Implement financial management strategies to optimize resources and ensure fiscal sustainability
  • Evaluate program sustainability and make recommendations on expansion, right-sizing or phase out
  • Create business and operational plans to guide the launch of  new initiatives or pilot programs
  • Provide values-based leadership and collaboration
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate possesses a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Nonprofit Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred. The candidate should have at least seven years of demonstrated success in a senior management role, leading high performing teams and executing sound business judgement within nonprofit social service environments. A deep understanding of the dynamics of poverty and experience with providing services that address homelessness, reentry, mental health and aging is required. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential, along with the ability to analyze financial and operational data and make informed and strategic decisions. A valid Ohio Driver’s License and proof of insurance are required.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Nonprofit Management, or related field
