The control group specializes in sophisticated power electronics algorithm that operates Solaredge's products.
As an Embedded Verification & Automation Engineer in the control group you will plan and implement testing and setups, analyze tests results and debug issues. Excelling in this position requires highly self-motivated engineer, responsible and determined.You will have the opportunity to be part of a growing team that is the key to our journey towards reliable and high-quality software.
Responsibilities:
- Understand deeply the company products, system and features.
- Define test plans setups and automation for large scale of products and features
- Build automation testing environments and setups
- Implement automation scripts in C#/Python/other OOP environment.
- Run automation tests and Analyse Results
- Technical documentation of testing setups and automation design.
- Team player who is comfortable operating in a fast and dynamic environment
Requirements
- B.Sc/BA in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering - Must
- 4+ years of experience as Validation or Verification & automation Engineer – Must
- Experience with Lab equipment such as: Scope, Power Supplies, Power meters, etc.
- Testing mind set - knowledge and experience with test methodologies
- Highly responsible and self-motivated
Advantage for this position:
- Knowledge in Power Electronics.
- Experience in quality assurance.
- Experience Python , C , and C# programming languages .
- Experience with code deployments and version control systems (GIT)
- Practical knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps
