Senior Valuation and NAV Controlling

Monday to Friday (40 hours)

This is a great opportunity to join a fast-growing AIFM and contribute actively to its development and evolution. The Senior Valuation and NAV Controlling will contribute to the valuation management policies and procedures of the AIFM and will report to the Conducting Officer in charge of Risk Management and Valuation.
What you'll do for us

• Review and sign off on the NAVs of each fund
• Understand the valuation process for each fund and document the same at onboarding and continue to monitor on ongoing basis
• Review and carry out due diligence on any third-party valuation agent appointed to each fund
• Assisting in the reporting to the AIFM board on at least a quarterly basis on the valuations of the funds
• Review and participate in the audit process for each fund
• Ad-hoc tasks to assist the growth of the business and ensure smooth running of daily activities

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?

• Have a university degree in Economics, Finance or similar fields
• Professional qualifications (CFA, CAIA,...) would be considered as an asset
• Have a minimum of 2 or 3 years of relevant experience as a valuation professional or as an auditor in the fund industry (preferably coming from AIFM, management company or Big Four with experience of Private Equity and/or Real Estate AIFs)
• Have a good knowledge and understanding of the Luxembourg fund industry and AIFM regulations
• Have proven ability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative
• Are also a team player with good communication skills
• Have analytical approach and strong MS Excel skills
• Are fluent in English. Any additional language would be considered as an advantage (French, German)
