The Role
We’re looking for a Senior UX Researcher to build the UX research function from the ground up. In this role, you’ll drive product innovation by uncovering deep insights into user behavior, needs, and pain points within the wealth management industry. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our platform through user-centered design in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
Your Impact
- Lead end-to-end research initiatives, from study design to synthesis and strategic recommendations
- Develop and implement scalable research frameworks, methodologies, and best practices
- Apply a variety of research methods — including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and behavioral data analysis — to inform design and product decisions
- Partner closely with product managers and designers to ensure research drives meaningful outcomes
- Build and maintain a centralized research repository to ensure insights are accessible and actionable
- Synthesize findings into clear, compelling reports and presentations for cross-functional teams
- Develop long-term research roadmaps aligned with business goals and product strategy
- Advocate for the user voice within the company and educate stakeholders on research findings and opportunities
The Ideal Match
- 5+ years of experience in UX research, preferably within fintech, SaaS, or complex digital platforms
- Proven ability to work autonomously and build research practices from scratch
- Expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods
- Strong track record of influencing product and design through actionable insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills — able to translate complex findings into clear recommendations for diverse audiences
- Experience working in agile product development with cross-functional teams
- Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, or a related field (preferred)
Bonus Points
- Experience in wealth management — familiarity with advisor workflows, financial products, and regulatory considerations
- Background in establishing scalable research processes to support a growing design and product team
- Strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable presenting findings to executives and aligning research efforts with business goals
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools
- Prior experience in fast-paced startup environments
