The role
As a Senior UX Designer in our B2B team, you’ll shape intuitive, high-impact experiences for Trainline’s white-label products - powering travel tools and platforms used by our partners across the industry.
You’ll also design the essential tools that empower our Customer Service teams, helping them deliver faster, simpler support for millions of travellers. This is a role for someone who combines strategic design thinking with hands-on delivery, comfortable navigating between business, technical, and user-centric discussions.
You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Research to deliver solutions that are both elegant and effective. Our environment values open collaboration, diversity of thought, and a bias for action.
What you’ll do:
Lead end-to-end design for our White Label and Agent Tooling products.
Partner with Product Managers to drive customer-centric outcomes across multiple B2B initiatives.
Collaborate with Research and Data teams to bring insights into design decisions and measure success.
Work closely with Engineers to deliver feasible, high-quality solutions that meet business goals.
Contribute to - and when needed, extend - our Design System, maintaining consistency and craft.
Facilitate discovery and ideation workshops; iterate rapidly and validate with users.
Champion accessibility, simplicity, and inclusivity in every interaction.
Share work in the open and provide thoughtful feedback to peers.
We’d love to hear from you if you have..
Proven experience designing digital products end-to-end, ideally in B2B or platform-based environments.
Strong portfolio showcasing your process, UX reasoning, and impact.
Working knowledge of iOS, Android, and Web patterns.
Proficient in Figma or similar design tools; comfortable with prototyping and usability testing.
Confident collaborating with Product, Engineering, and commercial stakeholders.
Curious, pragmatic, and able to balance user needs with business realities.
Experience in PAYG (Pay As You Go) travel experiences or other location-based transit innovations is a plus. This is an emerging part of our White Label and Agent Tools portfolio, though not a requirement.
