About the role
We’re looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior UX Designer to join our fun, diverse, and dynamic performance marketing design team at Gen Digital. This role is integral to our marketing efforts and requires a deep understanding of performance marketing strategies, including extensive experience with A/B testing. You’ll collaborate with brilliant thinkers from cross-functional teams across the organization to design compelling experiences that drive user engagement and contribute to conversion optimization to improve the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. What You Will Do in This Role
  • Intake, delegate, and oversee projects for your design tribe. 

  • Design communications to enhance user experiences across various digital platforms to improve user satisfaction, engagement, and conversions for high visibility and high impact projects. 

  • Design for multiple brands and marketing channels, ensuring consistency with design guidelines and best practices. 

  • Partner with talented designers, illustrators, marketing experts, developers, and other teams to transform business objectives into clear and compelling designs that inform, guide, and persuade users to take action. 

  • Own all aspects of design and production, meeting deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality. 

  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging user experience and design patterns, and design best practices to keep our team ahead of the competition. 

  • Actively participate in brainstorming sessions, ideation sessions, and design critiques. 

  • Mentor and guide other UX designers on the team. 

  • Confidently provide constructive feedback and receive feedback from colleagues in various roles and levels across the organization, demonstrating humility and setting your ego aside for the greater good of our customers.

  • Have a great attitude that upholds and nurtures our positive team culture and creative working environment. 

  • Help inform strategy through user testing to validate designs to discover what resonates with our customers. 

What You’ll Need to be Successful in this Role

  • Exemplary in craft, empathy, ethics, and self-sufficiency. 

  • Passion for user-centric design with a proficiency in user experience design principles, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a creative mindset. 

  • 5+ years of proven experience in UX design with a strong portfolio, showcasing user-centric design case studies that demonstrate audience engagement, customer growth, and a commercial mindset. 

  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas, concepts, and the rationale behind your decisions. 

  • Willingness and flexibility to update designs based on feedback from colleagues and stakeholders. 

  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with colleagues across the organization and in multiple time zones. 

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an agile, collaborative environment with tight deadlines. 

  • An open and respectful mindset. As a diverse international team, we trust and support each other with work and personal matters. We have each other’s backs. 

Nice to have:
 

  • Knowledge of A/B testing and strategies. 

  • Basic knowledge of front-end development principles. 

  • Experience with localization in design. 

  • Design system experience. 

  • Any other languages are a plus. 

  • A good sense of humour :)
