About Us

At Kizen, we build technology that makes AI actually work for people.

Our platform helps organizations automate the workflows that matter most — from helping insurance agents manage contracting and commissions, to enabling healthcare providers to deliver proactive patient care, to empowering financial institutions to classify documents and extract data automatically.

And that’s just the beginning. With Kizen, developers can build new enterprise applications, while business users can customize dashboards and agents using AI, low-code, or code — all on the same platform. The possibilities are limited only by imagination.

What used to take months or years to build, configure, and connect now takes just days. Kizen combines powerful pre-built agents and use cases with an enterprise platform for automation and data connection — all built on an AI-first architecture that’s easy to adopt, scale, and trust.

We’re not chasing hype. We’re solving real operational problems and helping the world’s most complex organizations work faster, smarter, and more humanely.

Join us in transforming how industries work — one workflow, one agent, and one customer success story at a time.

About the Role

Do you strive to make the complex understood and create satisfying user interfaces?

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Product Designer with a history of quality product design as we bring our next-gen platform to the world.

This is an opportunity of a lifetime for someone who wants to be at the heart of the AI movement to better humanity. As the product team’s Product Designer you’ll be working directly with our CTO and VP of Engineering to design and build sophisticated yet elegant user interfaces for the Kizen platform and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

We have an established design system, and in this role, you should roughly spend 80% of your time devoted to features and improvements within the existing design system, and 20% making improvements to the system itself (or self-guided design).

You’ll be a key participant in all of our requirements grooming meetings where the critical decisions about the direction and features of our product are discussed.

User Experience Excellence

  • Review and contribute design guidance to feature tickets
  • Collaborate with product and engineering to ideate on solutions to use-cases from existing customers and internal stakeholders
  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboard, process flows, and sitemaps
  • Maintain a competitive edge against competitor products and industry trends

Testing and Verification

  • Utilize a metrics-based approach to evaluate customer feedback (in collaboration with our Product team) to prioritize where we should improve our UI to maximize user experience
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
  • Review features prior to release for adherence to style guide and design system
  • Precision in designs to ensure pixel-perfect mockups to eliminate ambiguity in the dev and QA process

Customer Obsession

  • Be the voice of the customer
  • Understand product specifications and user psychology and predict what might work for both
  • Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback

Teammate Enablement

  • Maintain and evolve our Figma-based design system
  • Create easy-to-use design tools so that Product Owners can do basic designs using the design system.
  • Share best practices with devs and team.
  • Take ideas from concept to completion, managing and executing multiple projects in a fast-paced, forward-thinking, and detail-oriented and deadline-oriented environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, PR, Journalism, Communications, Design, or equivalent relevant Marketing experience
  • 4+ years of UI/UX Design experience within an application
  • A portfolio that demonstrates your work experience in this field
  • Strong ability to take an idea from concept to full implementation, with an eye for detail
  • Experience managing projects and engagements involving multiple stakeholders
  • Exceptional collaboration, organizational, and time management skills
  • A curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies, navigate ambiguity, and adapt to a quickly changing environment
  • Driven and self-motivated, operates autonomously, with a knack for finding and solving problems
  • Located in Austin, Texas and eager for 4 days in our Domain office
  • Authorized to work in the United States with no restrictions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional experience in other roles in the product organization
  • Experience designing interfaces with AI interaction surfaces
  • Comfortable directly interfacing with customers/users
  • Previous start-up, B2B, and/or consulting experience is a plus
  • You’re passionate about the role business has to play in positively impacting humanity

What We Do

Kizen builds technology that makes AI actually work for people.
Our AI-native platform enables teams to build, monitor, and orchestrate AI agents across the workflows that matter most. We help organizations move from understanding business context, to taking action through intelligent workflows, to safely building custom applications and agents, all while maintaining enterprise-grade security, governance, and compliance.
Kizen is trusted by industry leaders to power mission-critical operations. Customers use our platform to automate complex, high-stakes processes such as insurance contracting and commissions, and to deploy AI-native CRM systems for agents, agencies, and organizations across all industries.
Kizen is built for both developers and business users. Developers can create full enterprise applications. Business users can configure dashboards, workflows, and agents using AI, low-code, or traditional code. Everyone works on the same platform, with a shared data model and consistent controls, reducing fragmentation and operational risk.
What once took months or years to design, build, and connect can now be delivered in days. Kizen combines pre-built agents and proven use cases with a robust automation and data foundation, designed from the ground up for AI-driven execution at scale.
We are not chasing hype cycles or novelty. We focus on real operational problems, measurable outcomes, and systems organizations can trust. Our goal is simple: help complex teams work faster, smarter, and more humanely.
