About the role:
As a Senior Consultant in Professional Services, you will act as Lead Consultant within implementation projects of our treasury software solutions.

What you will be doing:

• Execute FIS Professional Services contracts by delivering on and off-site consultancy
• Develop a sound understanding of the fundamental modules within the Ambit Quantum and Analytics TMS product
• Assist clients to configure licensed modules and deliver training as required
• Develop your understanding of the database structure by utilising report writing tools and SQL
• Provide treasury, risk management and liquidity expertise and resolve specific product issues
• Mentor and support less experienced consultants, transfer knowledge to and from other members of the PS team
• Provide continual feedback to the project manager promptly highlighting any potential issues to allow a pro-active solution to be offered
• Responsible for identifying opportunities where additional services beyond the core implementation tasks may be offered, and work closely with your line management to pursue such opportunities
• You will be expected to achieve a minimum annual chargeability of 70%

What you bring:

• Good understanding of the financial markets, at least in one of the following areas – Market Risk, Credit Risk, Liquidity, Cash Management or Regulatory Requirements
• A degree (or equivalent) in IT, Finance, Business, Economics or Engineering
• Previous consulting experience, working for a bank treasury department or financial audit services
• Previous implementation experience of TMS/ERP would be beneficial (Murex, Calypso, Kondor+, SAP, etc)
• Good understanding of relational databases and utilization of SQL on intermediate user level
• Sound understanding of software implementation project lifecycle (banking software or treasury software)
• Good presentation and communication skills
• fluent in English
• primarily focused on the European client base, ability to deliver to tight timeframes
