What You’ll Be Doing
As Senior Testing Engineer, you will:
- Collaborate closely with product owners to understand business requirements and contribute to solution planning.
- Review and analyze UX/UI designs to detect usability issues early and suggest enhancements.
- Design and execute detailed test plans, covering both manual and automated testing approaches.
- Build and maintain reliable test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium or Playwright.
- Support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) by embedding quality checks into the pipeline.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of learning.
- Analyze test results, report findings, and use quality metrics to recommend process improvements.
- Enforce and audit QA processes to maintain the highest standards across development teams.
- Use tools like Git for version control and Jira for bug tracking and project coordination.
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in software testing, including both manual and automated approaches.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, test planning, and defect lifecycle management.
- Proven hands-on experience in API testing.
- Experience working in Agile environments, participating in sprints, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Proficient in English (spoken and written) for effective communication with international teams.
- Familiar with scripting or programming languages like Python, Java, or TypeScript.
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload with minimal supervision.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Git, Jira, and test management tools.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent knowledge.
Nice to Have
- Experience mentoring and coaching junior QA engineers.
- Agile Tester Certification.
- Familiarity with Linux environments.
- Previous experience with performance or security testing tools.
