Job Description – Senior Test Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze business and functional requirements to understand application behavior.
Prepare comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
Execute Functional, System, Integration, Regression, and End-to-End testing.
Validate business workflows across Loan Applications and Loan Origination Systems (LOS).
Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
Participate in requirement walkthroughs, sprint planning, and review meetings.
Perform impact analysis for application enhancements and production fixes.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to resolve issues.
Ensure complete test coverage and maintain requirement traceability.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production validation, and release activities.
Prepare daily and weekly testing status reports.
Skills Required
- Experience in Banking applications and end-to-end software testing
- Hands-on experience in Loan Applications and Loan Origination Systems (LOS)
- Strong understanding of lending workflows
- Experience executing Functional, System, Integration, Regression, and End-to-End testing
- Experience with defect management: identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools
- Ability to prepare comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test data
- Experience performing impact analysis for application enhancements and production fixes
- Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production validation, and release activities
- Experience collaborating with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners
