Job Role and Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive testing of ETL processes and SSIS packages to ensure data accuracy, quality, and completeness.
- Collaborate with development teams during the migration process from DTS to SSIS, validating the successful migration of all processes and workflows.
- Develop and execute SQL queries to validate data transformation, integration, and consistency.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data discrepancies and performance issues in the migration process.
- Create test cases, test plans, and test scripts for ETL processes, ensuring proper documentation of testing activities.
- Support the design, development, and optimization of SSIS packages.
- Conduct regression, performance, and integration testing for SSIS packages and ETL processes.
- Provide feedback and reports to developers, business stakeholders, and project managers on testing results and issues encountered during testing.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and quality standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
