Role summary
The Senior Test Analyst will be responsible for testing OES’s LMS & supporting platforms to ensure a quality experience for students across all partners. Working as a part of a small team, this role will be responsible for developing and executing test cases derived from detailed requirements, managing defects within the product and working with the developers to deliver a quality release. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight time frames.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional testing
- Interpret functional specifications
- Identify test scenarios and develop test cases
- Prepare test data
- Execute test cases and analyse results
- Undertake testing across multiple browsers
- Collaborate with the internal team and external developers regarding defects and test related issues
- Support product owners with acceptance criteria
- Work with subject matter experts to understand requirements
- Update regression test suites for all partners
- Mentor team members (including developers) with testing activities

Technical skills and experience
- Experience in functional testing.
- Experience working with Jira or alternate technologies.
- Experience working with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins preferred.
- Experience in Salesforce testing preferred.
- Tertiary qualifications or industry certifications and demonstrated knowledge of IT and Education business and technology trends and developments.
- Preferred but not essential: experience with implementing automation frameworks and selection of tools
