Senior Test Analyst / Consultant - Major UK Infrastructure Programme - Permanent role

Location - Milton Keynes / Hybrid (Must be able to be onsite 2 days a week)

Be able to start in 2 to 3 weeks

Job description

The Senior Test Analyst / Consultant will assist with the review of the programme test documentation received from the third-party suppliers e.g. Test Plans, Closure Reports, Test Cases/ Scenarios, making sure that the Test Strategy is been adhered to. 

 The individual will assist the Test Lead in Test Design workshops and the running of Quality Gate calls , they will help with the co-ordination of test evidence review and witness testing of third-party test results covering SIT, SAT, UAT, NFT, OAT .

This is a manual role with no automation necessary but someone who thrives on details, planning and reviewing test scripts

They will be required to verify and maintain the test traceability matrix when required.

• Hands on testing experience
• Strong knowledge of Test Methodologies and processes
• Experience of managing test defects to a successful resolution
• Experience of applying a risk based approach to testing
• Experience of working on Infrastructure / Telco / Security Projects
• Ability to interpret test results
• Experience in producing detailed test plans, test closure reports and test scripts
• Ability to monitor test progress , report defects,
• Proficient on JIRA: monitor test progress, set up dashboards and run reports
• Excellent communication skills
• Self Starter , able to work with minimal direction
• Customer facing experience
• Knowledge of telecoms within the rail or transport industry sector
• JIRA Admin experience
