The Role
The Senior Technology Risk Analyst will design frameworks for risk management, lead projects to identify emerging technology risks, and collaborate with various teams for effective risk practices.
Summary Generated by Built In

We’re looking for a Senior Technology Risk Manager to join our Tech Risk and Enablement team.

Our team helps ensure that the firm’s technology organization manages risk effectively - without compromising the efficiency and agility that drive our success. You’ll design frameworks that enable risk management at scale, and you’ll independently lead projects to identify emerging risks within technology, such as those introduced by new AI tools and platforms. Partnering with subject matter experts, you’ll develop practical controls and oversee their implementation.

The opportunity for impact is significant: in the projects we run, we act as a central link between technology, trading, and compliance. In the services we provide - such as hosting the firm’s incident retro process - you’ll work closely with senior leaders, gaining broad exposure across domains and connecting the dots between teams.

While not a software development role, you’ll have opportunities to contribute to the team’s tools and automation efforts to make our processes more effective - whether that’s generating metrics and dashboards, or improving workflows.

What you'll do

At a glance, your primary responsibilities will be:

  • Designing and overseeing how the technology organization operationalizes risk management—ensuring the process is scalable, effective, and embedded in day-to-day decision making.

  • Identifying existing technology risk practices across regions, bringing them under a global framework, and aligning approaches to ensure consistency.

  • Collaborating with trading, technology, and control teams to drive critical cross-functional projects from initial discussions to completion.

  • Providing global CTOs with insight and recommendations that help them make informed, risk-aware decisions.

What you'll get

You’ll join a culture of collaboration and excellence, where you’ll be surrounded by curious thinkers and creative problem solvers. Motivated by a passion for continuous improvement, you’ll thrive in a supportive, high-performing environment alongside talented colleagues, working collectively to tackle the toughest problems in the financial markets.

In addition, you’ll receive:

  • A performance-based bonus structure, enabling all of our employees to benefit from our global profit pool.

  • The opportunity to work alongside best-in-class professionals from over 50 different countries.

  • 25 paid vacation days in your first year, increasing to 30 from your second year onwards.

  • Training opportunities, discounts on health insurance, and fully paid first-class commuting expenses.

  • Extensive office perks, including breakfast, lunch and dinner, world-class barista coffee, in-house physio and chair massages, organized sports and leisure activities, and Friday afternoon drinks.

  • Training and continuous learning opportunities, including access to conferences and tech events.

  • Competitive relocation packages and visa sponsorship where necessary for expats.

Who you are

  • You hold a degree in Computer Science (or a similar field).

  • You have a strong aptitude for understanding how complex technical systems work.

  • You have a keen interest in emerging technologies, and you can translate that to how they impact the firm’s risk posture.

  • You are a pragmatic thinker with strong communication skills.

  • You have a history of influencing and working well with individuals at all levels across high-performing, talent-dense organizations.

  • You can write code to automate workflows and handle data effectively (extensive software engineering experience is not required).

  • You bring solid project management experience and a hands-on, proactive mindset.

  • You're genuinely interested in the financial industry and motivated to learn more.
