DRW is looking for a Senior Project Manager to support our technology initiatives and become part of our dynamic organization. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned project management professional that has experience working with cutting edge technologies and project management techniques. This role will allow you to manage new projects from conception to delivery and be an integral part of building extremely high-quality trading environments.
This position is based in Chicago, IL with a hybrid work schedule (at least 3 days in-office).
What you will do:
- Manage and facilitate full life cycle projects, with a focus on third-party platform/system implementations (including ServiceNow, Salesforce, etc.), software development projects, and other various technology projects
- Create and maintain project plans and documentation
- Facilitate standup, planning and retrospective meetings
- Work with internal departments and external vendors to obtain approvals and negotiate various legal agreements, including procurement contracts and service agreements
- Conduct build versus buy analysis for technology projects, and lead the vendor selection process
- Create clear and easy-to-follow workflow documentation and work on business analysis to help improve processes and boost efficiency
- Coach IT Services professionals in how to best apply project management methodologies to their organization
- Maintain relationships with key trading business units and software development teams on all aspects of implementing new technology infrastructure
- Report on project progress and risks to management
What you will need:
- 10+ years’ experience managing full life cycle projects, including third-party and proprietary software implementations, (including ServiceNow and various other software solutions.), and various technology initiatives
- Proven experience in selecting, leading and collaborating with implementation partners to ensure successful project delivery
- Strongly prefer candidates with prior experience in the trading/capital markets industry
- Prior experience with networking technology and hardware; familiarity with networking and data center terms is a plus
- Scrum Experience & Certification Required
- Familiarity with PMI Body of Knowledge desired; PMP certification a plus
- Strong initiative; proven track record of taking ownership of projects through successful completion
- Experience leading team meetings, assigning action items and tasks, and managing overall project tracking and communications
- Strong business acumen and ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and responsibilities
- Excellent organizational skills; strong attention to detail
- Previous experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Bachelor's degree required
The annual base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $200,000, depending on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and relevant skill set. The position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
