Job Description:
This job is responsible for maximizing the value for one or more products. Key responsibilities include working with stakeholders to understand their needs, and with product owners or specialists to ensure they are aligning on priorities. Job expectations include ensuring delivery of products that meet client expectations, including features, security, availability, resiliency, timelines and costs.

Responsibilities:

  • Generates the vision and roadmap for the program based on customer requirements, industry trends, regulations, and the strategic direction for the business or technology domain
  • Communicates the program vision and roadmap to stakeholders, product owners and the teams
  • Oversees the budget(s) for one or more products by working closely with finance partners on both personnel and non-personnel expenses
  • Provides input into defining business capabilities and aligning them to products or creating new products to support them
  • Ensures product availability by partnering closely with demand and capacity teammates
  • Develops business cases for new products and additional features for existing products
  • Partners with the product owners and the teams to ensure that optimum value is obtained through technology and subject-matter expertise and understanding of the business and industry trends
  • Effective product owner skills sets, Able to manage things independently.
  • Strong business knowledge around payments, stakeholder management and requirement gathering.
  • Act as the subject matter expert within the technical domain to support scope and requirement decisions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, problems, and align them on priorities.
  • Create and Review the tech vision and roadmap for the product to align with strategic direction for the business or technology domain.
  • Collaborate with vendors for the project needs as applicable; it encompasses in other routines.
  • Drive Business requirements sessions based on project timelines with Biz/Tech/Arch to review the requirements and XD.
  • Approve Jira Deliverables/Epics for Business Readiness.
  • Work with Architects applications owners for solution readiness
  • Assist in change work estimation process

Required Qualifications

  • 8-10  years’ experience as a Product Owner for agile teams
  • 5+ years’ experience with JIRA
  • High degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountability
  • Highly motivated self-starter able to work independently with little supervision
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the Wire Transfer process and functionality of Wires.
  • Understanding of payment systems – SWIFT, Chips, FED, ISO20022.
  • Basic knowledge on Money transfer system, ACI MTS.
  • Agile methodologies – Kanban / JIRA

Pay and benefits information

Pay range$135,000.00 - $217,100.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
