Role Description
Tech Skills:
- Strong in Core Java, familiar with latest concepts e.g. Java 17
- Familiar with Spring Boot, JSON, XML, Yaml configs etc.
- Sound knowledge of Rest API w.r.t Security, Performance, Logging and Error Handling
- Hands on with Tools like Postman, Swagger, ELK(Logs), AWS Cloud Watch etc.
- Familiar with Deployment processes and Network concepts
- Knowledge of AWS Cloud (good to have)
- Should have good understanding of DB and should be able to write basic SQL queries
Tech Owner Responsibilities:
- Act as technical SME for the EPIC assigned and drive EPIC refinements from technical standpoint
- Review and sign off technical designs created by Backbase [Ensuring security/performance/NFRS are considered for the transaction (feature)] and provide technical approval on User Stories
- Own solutioning alongside squads/Enterprise Architect/Engineering Manager
- Own/Drive API discussions with OBP (Interfacing Platform) and Product Processor / external interfaces
- Own the challenges / clarifications required by the squad and ensure timely clarifications are provided
- Ability to take up API discovery, troubleshooting and analysis
- Resolve technical impediments and defects
- Troubleshoot issues as required in various environments
- Escalate to Engineering Manager/Program management team on issues/risks/API issues not getting resolved
- Ensure API documentation & clarifications are documented for future use
Highlights:

- Analysis, Service Discovery, Design Reviews, Config Reviews and Troubleshooting are the main tasks
- Good communication skill
- Should be able to co-ordinate with different teams on technical aspects and bring things to closure
