About the role 

We’re looking for a forward-thinking Technical SEO Specialist to join our globally distributed SEO team. In this role, you'll collaborate with SEO and engineering experts to shape the technical health, discoverability, and search visibility of our portfolio of consumer websites.  

Mission & Goals 
 

This is an ideal opportunity for a technically fluent SEO with enterprise-level experience, deep knowledge of crawling/indexing principles, and a strong interest in AI, automation, and structured data strategies. You’ll work cross-functionally with developers, product managers, and content teams to ensure our global web presence is technically sound, future-ready, and optimized for traditional and AI-based search engines. 

Objectives 

  • Technical SEO Execution & Monitoring - Conduct ongoing technical SEO audits and implement fixes, focusing on crawl budget, indexation, and site architecture. Monitor and maintain robots.txt, XML sitemaps, canonical tags, meta directives, and HREFLang implementations. Detect and resolve indexing anomalies, redirect issues, and site health degradation. Support migration projects, redesigns, and product launches from a technical SEO standpoint. 

  • Tooling & Automation - Use enterprise-level SEO platforms including Botify, Conductor, ContentKing, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console for crawl monitoring and diagnostics. Integrate tools with dashboards and pipelines where possible to automate crawling alerts, performance reporting, and issue tracking. Define acceptance criteria and SEO requirements in Jira, collaborating with engineering teams in agile/sprint-based environments. 

  • AI-Driven SEO Strategy - Champion AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and LLM readiness, optimizing site structure and content for platforms like Google SGE, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other generative discovery engines. Implement and evolve structured data and schema markup strategies (JSON-LD, Schema.org) to enhance visibility in AI-generated answers and SERP features. Monitor AI platform behavior and track keyword, visibility, and summarization performance across LLM-based search surfaces. Experience with content chunking and vector indexing a plus. 

  • AI Monitoring & Innovation - Evaluate and test new AI/LLM-driven SEO tooling and workflows. Work on prototypes or experiments involving AI tracking, embedding-based site discovery, or semantic content mapping. Monitor emerging AI metrics and analytics tools, proposing KPI frameworks that adapt to AI-generated content visibility. 

  • Cross-Team Enablement & Evangelism - Collaborate closely with SEO specialists, data analysts, developers, and content leads to align SEO with broader marketing and product roadmaps. Advocate for SEO in cross-departmental discussions, ensuring search best practices are baked into processes and technical decisions. Educate teams on evolving search behavior, Core Web Vitals, mobile-first indexing, and AI-native SEO implications. 

Competencies 

  • Technical SEO Expertise - Proven experience with technical SEO for large-scale, international websites. Familiar with log file analysis, crawling diagnostics, HREFLang validation, and rendering performance issues. Hands-on skills with structured data markup. 

  • Tools & Platforms - Deep familiarity with Screaming Frog, GSC, GA4, Adobe Analytics, and related analytics tools as well as enterprise level tool such as Botify, Conductor/Contentking. Experience using tools like Jira, Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI for SEO monitoring and reporting. 

  • AI & Emerging SEO Trends - Understanding of Answer Engine Optimization, entity-based SEO, and generative search platforms (Google SGE, ChatGPT, Perplexity). Interest and experience in AI-powered tracking, automation, and LLM crawling behavior. 

  • Collaboration & Communication - Strong communication skills with ability to bridge SEO insights with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders. Experience working in agile teams and documenting technical requirements. 

  • Nice to have - Experience with cloud environments (e.g. GCP, BigQuery) for log or crawl data analysis. Understanding of semantic search, vector embeddings, or AI prompt optimization. Previous exposure to AI visibility metrics, AI summary testing, or zero-click analysis.
