Job Description:
What you will do- Own the pursuit end to end. Drive each opportunity forward, keep dozens on track at once, and make sure nothing and no one slips.
- Become our application modernization expert. Know the offering inside out, the problems it solves and the approaches behind it, and articulate it to clients with clarity and conviction.
- Connect sales, product and delivery. Turn what the client says into a clear brief for the solution and pricing and turn the solution back into something they buy into.
- Lead technical discovery. Understand the client's state and real pain points and map them honestly to what we can and cannot do for them.
- Qualify hard. Press for the real budget, the decision maker and the reason to act now, and walk away early from deals that are not real.
- Own the client through delivery. Set up governance, smooth the edges between our team and the client, keep them happy with what they bought, and grow the account.
- Track the market with Product. Watch technology trends and shape our competitive positioning.
- Own the GenAI narrative. Know where it genuinely helps with legacy and where it does not and make the case for our approach against GitHub Copilot, Claude Code and the hype.
- Command the room. Hold your own and drive decisions with anyone, from a client's team lead to their CIO or CTO, and internally with account leads, sales and regional managers.
- Around 10 years of relevant experience across technical pre-sales, solution consulting, engagement or delivery management, or hands-on software delivery. Drive and hunger matter to us more than time served.
- Outstanding communication and real presence. You earn senior clients' trust quickly and hold your ground in executive conversations.
- Exceptional organization and dependability. Across a heavy, parallel workload you follow up without being chased, and deals never go quietly on your watch.
- Credibility on application modernization. You know it well enough to become our SME, connecting a client's problem to the right service without being a hands-on architect.
- Proactive, hungry drive. You take the initiative, push deals forward and make the call rather than wait to be told.
- Commercial sharpness. You understand pricing, win strategy and delivery risk, including the realities of software delivery and third parties.
