Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter & Client Talent Partner to support our growing technical staffing and managed services business serving Media & Entertainment companies (studios, post-production houses, streamers, broadcasters, and digital media companies).
This role goes beyond traditional recruiting. The ideal candidate deeply understands technical roles and production environments, can translate client needs into strong candidate matches, and acts as a trusted extension of our client relationships—identifying follow-on staffing and services opportunities as engagements expand.
This is a high-impact, revenue-adjacent role working closely with leadership, account owners, and delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruiting

  • Source, screen, and place technical professionals: 
    • Cloud / Infrastructure Engineers
    • Production & Post Production Engineers
    • DevOps & Pipeline Engineers
    • Media Systems Engineers
    • Application Support & IT Operations roles
  • Conduct in-depth technical and experiential interviews to assess:
    • Technical competence
    • Media & Entertainment workflow experience
    • Client-facing communication skills
  • Maintain a strong, active bench of pre-vetted candidates aligned to M&E environments.
  • Manage candidates through the full lifecycle: sourcing → interview → offer → onboarding.
Client Engagement & Needs Qualification
  • Partner with clients to understand technical, operational, and production workflows, including:
    • On-prem and cloud environments
    • Hybrid production teams
    • Scaling needs during active production cycles
  • Translate client pain points into:
    • Clear role definitions
    • Staffing plans
    • Near-term and future hiring needs
Identify follow-on staffing opportunities during active engagements:
  • Act as a consultative advisor, helping clients think through:
    • Role design
    • Skill tradeoffs
    • Contract vs. permanent staffing strategies
  • Recognize signals for:
    • Additional contractors
    • Role expansions
    • Transition from staffing into managed services
  • Confidently discuss scope, timelines, and candidate profiles with clients.
  • Support leadership or account owners in:
    • Expanding existing client relationships
    • Closing incremental staffing needs
  • Maintain accurate notes and pipeline updates in CRM / ATS systems.
Internal Collaboration
  • Work closely with:
    • Managed services leadership
    • Technical delivery teams
    • Sales / account management
  • Provide market intelligence on:
    • Talent availability
    • Rate trends
    • Competitive hiring dynamics in M&E
  • Help refine job descriptions, role requirements, and client-facing materials.
Required Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in technical recruiting or staffing
  • Experience recruiting engineering, IT, or infrastructure roles
  • Direct exposure to Media & Entertainment, broadcast, post-production, or creative technology environments (strongly preferred)
  • Experience working with contract / consulting / staffing models
  • Proven ability to manage multiple open roles simultaneously
