Job Title: Technical Delivery Manager / Engineering Manager

We are seeking a hands-on, high-ownership Technical Delivery Manager to lead and scale enterprise engineering and integration initiatives. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex software architecture and delivery governance, driving technical roadmaping, system architecture, and high-performing engineering teams.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in enterprise software integration, cloud architectures, and modern platform engineering, combined with functional exposure to retail domain operations (e.g., Order Management Systems, supply chain, omnichannel fulfillment).
Technical Leadership & Architecture (50%)
- Act as the primary technical authority across solution design, integration architecture, and cloud infrastructure choices.
- Guide engineering teams through architectural reviews, technical design decisions, non-functional requirements (NFRs), security standards, and performance optimization.
- Evaluate emerging technologies (including enterprise AI capabilities, automated workflows, and modern data architectures) to optimize engineering productivity and platform capabilities.
- Troubleshoot complex, high-severity production issues alongside lead engineers, ensuring rapid root-cause analysis (RCA) and permanent resolution strategies.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex software integration projects (Fixed-Bid and Managed Services models) on time, within scope, and aligned with SLAs.
- Define and track key engineering metrics, quality gates, CI/CD deployment standards, and hypercare support protocols.
- Serve as the principal technical interface for executive stakeholders and enterprise clients, managing technical risks, architecture alignment, and delivery status.
- Drive sprint planning, resource allocation, risk mitigation strategies, and delivery governance across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Manage, mentor, and upskill software engineers, integration architects, and QA leads.
- Foster a culture of engineering excellence, automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous learning across the team.
- Core Technical Expertise:
- 10+ years of overall software development and delivery experience, with at least 3–4 years in a technical leadership or engineering management role.
- Proven track record in enterprise application integration (EAI), API management, middleware, and microservices architectures (e.g., TIBCO, MuleSoft, Azure Integration Services, or IBM Integration).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platform migrations and cloud-native services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong expertise in relational and non-relational databases, SQL optimization, data pipelines, and system reliability/observability.
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and modern CI/CD automation pipelines.
- 10+ years of overall software development and delivery experience, with at least 3–4 years in a technical leadership or engineering management role.
- Domain Experience:
- Background in the Retail & Ecommerce domain—familiarity with Order Management Systems (e.g., IBM Sterling OMS, Manhattan, Salesforce Commerce/Service Cloud), inventory allocation, catalog, or logistics integration patterns.

- Certifications: AWS/Azure Solution Architect, PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent advanced technical certifications.
Skills Required
- 12+ years of overall IT or engineering experience
- Substantial hands-on experience writing, reviewing, or architecting Python and/or .NET applications
- Current hands-on knowledge of AWS, Azure, and/or GCP cloud platforms
- Experience with cloud compute, storage, networking, serverless, and managed database services
- Hands-on experience designing and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies
- Experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, blue-green or canary releases, and infrastructure as code
- Technical delivery experience in the retail domain
- Experience evaluating IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud offerings for fit, scalability, and cost
- Working knowledge of Datadog, New Relic, CloudWatch, or Grafana
- Hands-on incident response and troubleshooting experience
- Exposure to AI/ML-driven SDLC tooling, agentic coding tools, LLM Ops, or AI guardrails
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery
- Ability to review code, APIs, microservices, and integration patterns
- Ability to evaluate cloud architecture trade-offs and design options
- Understanding of deployment and release management, rollback strategies, and zero-downtime deployments
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills involving logs, configurations, and system behavior
- Ability to independently produce architecture diagrams, runbooks, and technical specifications
- Working knowledge of PCI-DSS and data privacy considerations
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe Agilist, or AWS/Azure/GCP certifications
- Prior consulting or IT services experience serving retail or fashion clients
- Experience with tooling strategy and SDLC process tracking
