The Sr. Technical Program Manager provides management and oversight of contractor personnel and technical activities supporting enterprise IT operations, architecture, data, and related mission capabilities.

The position serves as a primary interface between the contractor organization and Government stakeholders. The Sr. Technical Program Manager is accountable for coordinating technical execution, maintaining visibility into requirements and activities, supporting financial and business processes, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of contractor performance.

The individual must be able to lead multidisciplinary technical teams while maintaining effective communication among Government stakeholders, contractor personnel, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and operational teams.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Provide management and oversight of contractor personnel and assigned technical activities.
  • Coordinate work performed by prime contractor and subcontractor personnel.
  • Facilitate effective communication between Government stakeholders and contractor teams.
  • Track and document technical requirements, activities, risks, decisions, and performance.
  • Maintain visibility into execution so stakeholders can continuously monitor program and technical performance.
  • Ensure assigned work meets established quality, schedule, technical, and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate enterprise architecture, data, infrastructure, operational, and other technical activities as assigned.
  • Support financial and business processes associated with program execution.
  • Identify technical, staffing, contractual, schedule, and resource issues before they affect mission execution.
  • Coordinate dependencies among technical teams and workstreams.
  • Provide management-level status reporting and decision support.
  • Exercise sufficient organizational authority to resolve contractor performance issues and commit contractor resources within delegated authority.


Requirements

  • Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
  • Active PMP certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary technical teams.
  • Demonstrated experience managing technical requirements, schedules, risks, dependencies, and performance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for interaction with senior Government and contractor stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage work across enterprise IT, architecture, data, infrastructure, cybersecurity, or related technical domains.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 8 or more years of progressively responsible experience supporting complex IT, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, data, or technology programs.
  • Experience supporting federal or Department of Defense mission environments.
  • Experience leading geographically or functionally distributed technical teams.
  • Experience with enterprise architecture, data strategy, cloud, infrastructure, DevSecOps, or IT operations.
  • Experience managing subcontractors or integrated contractor teams.

TARGET SALARY RANGE: The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.  It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $175,000-220,000k
